Tavistock Canal Poetry Trail Guide

Tavistock Canal is part of the Cornwall and West Devon World Heritage Site and provides a safe and easy stroll for 2 miles out from the town centre. In 2012 poetry plaques were installed along the canal as part of a project involving school and college pupils. That poetry has now been reinstated on wooden plaques and features and provides an interesting reason to enjoy the beauty of this path. This guide explains this history of the canal and where all the poetry can be found.
